Leak-Proof Joints

Heat-fused HDPE pipes form a unified, leak-free piping system. The joints which are heat-fused, are as durable as the pipe itself. This leak-free system lowers the possibility of produced water, oil, and gas, leaking and causing environmental damage.

Chemical Tolerance

HDPE pipe is resistant to rust, UV damage, and corrosion over time. This makes the pipe material appropriate for outdoor use or for those requiring regular exposure to H2S gas, water, and other fluids. Polyethylene is resistant to degradation from exposure to salts, alkalis, and the majority of acids. Additionally, HDPE pipe is also not affected by a wide range of organic solvents and pH levels.

Speed Of Flow

The low friction coefficient of HDPE pipe enables a very high flow rate. The smooth surface not only increases flow but also minimizes drag and unstable flow. This improves pumping efficiency and lowers pumping costs.


Although carbon steel and composite pipe are used in oil and gas applications, they are costly. Carbon steel is expensive and has a high initial cost due to its weight, transportation expenses, and coatings. Resistance To High Temperatures

HDPE pipe can withstand temperatures of up to 140°F, although it can also withstand temperatures of up to 180°F without harm for a shorter duration of time

Steel pipeline construction and welding

Welding quality and internal joint alignment are essential for HDPE lining. Tatsuno’s lined pipe systems use the best welding equipment to eliminate these issues. The right internal line-up pipe clamp is used for welding setup to eliminate edge miss-alignment and offer full weld joint alignment throughout the operation.

HDPE continuous butt welding

Tatsuno’s thermal butt fusion technology is essential for the continuous lining. Thermal butt fusion delivers a large, uniform length of HDPE pipe quickly and affordably. Our skilled technicians use high-tech welding machines to improve productivity, efficiency, and safety.

Continuous HDPE lining system

This technology protects the carbon steel pipeline from internal corrosion with a continuous HDPE liner. It decreases pipeline abrasion and static pressure and saves money on fittings, energy bills, and carbon steel renewal. Leaks and environmental hazards are also reduced. This technology uses a folded HDPE liner put into carbon steel pipes. The liner’s internal diameter matches the steel pipe’s.

Pipeline pre-commissioning and commissioning

Pipeline pre-commissioning is performed for bolt-up cleaning and activation, as well as inspections using CCTV camera inspections, torque converters with precise torque settings, pressure testing (hydro or pneumatic), etc. Pipeline construction and upkeep is its key operation.
