Job Description

A. Contracts Functions

  • Good knowledge of Internationally renowned O & G specifications, Good managerial skills, Strategic Planning, Offer Evaluation, Order Execution, Costing/Estimation
  • Review Contract Terms and Conditions and provide necessary feedback related to all aspects of the Contractual matters
  • Identify and mitigate risks and convert risks into opportunities
  • Shall be responsible in identifying the key mile stones in terms of project deliverable, analyse and prepare the delays & risks
  • Establish a procedure in line with contract documents to monitor and control Variation notices and invoicing
  • Close Coordination with the Project team / site management / Construction group to identify the work done outside scope of work
  • Identify the Potential Changes to Contract Scope of Work in close coordination with Project team and convert the same to Variation Orders
  • Preparing Variation notices and claims & convert it into approved Variation Orders
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports which includes Cash flows, Invoicing, forecast, maintaining all registers including Potential changes, invoicing register etc.
  • Should demonstrate a challenging foresight in developing sub contracts in line with the main contract
  • Ability to draft and enforce effective subcontracts is highly recommended
  • Experience in managing construction Sub contracts
  • Certify sub-contractors bills & prepare payment certificates

B. Procurement Functions

  • Development of procurement strategies for preparation and presentation to the senior management
  • Manage the end to end procurement operations in the construction and project department of the organisation
  • Meticulously manage all aspects of procurement from negotiation to delivery
  • Accountable for approval of Bid-Lists and purchase orders up to certain limit of authority
  • Participate in pre-qualification of suppliers as necessary and evaluation of commercial bids
  • Preparation of negotiation strategies and procurement negotiations as appropriate
  • Ensure awards of Contracts and Purchase Orders are in compliance with local regulations and company's procurement policy
  • Accountable for reviewing and approving suppliers requests for payment with respect to vendors, ensuring all obligations are met before payment
  • Ensure all Contract and Purchase Order close-out is undertaken in a timely manner, including the resolution of claims as and when required
  • Oversee estimation of Freight costs and call-off freight forwarding services from suppliers, to
    meet required on-site dates at minimum costs
  • Ensure the use of available tools ie ERP/Tally, for Contracting and Procurement transactions
  • Provide sound advice on specifications and actively takes the lead negotiating high value contracts
  • Readily took ownership and confidently handled complex/difficult negotiations that regularly led to notable cost savings
  • Commands credibility and gains suppliers respect
  • Promote procurement influence, while establishing long-lasting working relationships
  • Play a key role in the leadership of cross-functional procurement team members
  • Value Management in lines with the cost reduction

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent verbal & written skills in English
  • Candidate will be required to travel frequently as per job requirement
  • Hands on experience in managing contracts and procurements (Civil & MEP) in Oil and Gas domain

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical with certification in supply chain management

Gender & Age: Male 32-34 years

Work Experience: 10-12 years
